Dear dairy

It is my best friend Ruby’s birthday party in 16 days. You’re probably wondering why I’m already counting up the days. Well it's because she's my only friend. My real friend, so don’t go telling me that she's just a doll because she has feelings to.

I have started sewing a new dress for the party and am thinking of a present that might appeal to her. She is turning 5  so she needs to be extra loved (you know what I mean… primary school). I HATE school, everyone knows that, so now you do to.

I’m sorry I didn't say why I have you yet. Well Miss Wilson said to practice my writing so my mum bought me you. You’re red with light pink gems. I think I’ll make you my secret diary, can we be friends? I’ve only got Ruby, talking about her I’m working on her dress good. Mum also bought some light green checkered fabric for MY new dress! Oh, today at school Heather (my archenemy and the worlds champion show_off) laughed at my new T-shirt “Mary's got babies clothes!” seriously, They are not babish! Its even black and yellow (which is the cool this year). Sorry, mum is calling, bye!

Yesterday dad got pizza for dinner! Do you know why? He got a new job! He said he’d get a good pay, so that means lots of pocket money for me!
